Reviews!

To any authors/publishers/ tour companies that are looking for the reviews that I signed up for please know this is very hard to do. I will be stopping reviews temporarily. My husband passed away February 1st and my new normal is a bit scary right now and I am unable to concentrate on a book to do justice to the book and authors. I will still do spotlight posts if you wish it is just the reviews at this time. I apologize for this, but it isn't fair to you if I signed up to do a review and haven't been able to because I can't concentrate on any books. Thank you for your understanding during this difficult time. I appreciate all of you. Kathleen Kelly April 2nd 2024

Masterfully crafted by Kevin Murray, a former crime reporter, ‘Blood of the Rose’ calls on decades of experience to uncover many crime-related issues that are rarely portrayed in fiction.

From the rocky relationship between the police and the press, through to a gripping examination of how violent crime changes relationships, Murray bares all in a classic-styled crime novel that’s frighteningly close to reality.

Having covered dozens of violent cases during his career as a crime reporter in South Africa, Kevin Murray has become incredibly close to all sides of murder. From the motives that drive the accused, through to how their actions change the lives of victims’ families forever, each case has now also become vital preparatory work for a chilling and insightful new crime novel.

‘Blood of the Rose’ will leave readers on the edge of their seats as its classic, page-turning style blends with up-close-and-personal detail and insider information that most crime novelists simply can’t provide.
