Learn About the Brand
RevivSerums.com, located in beautiful San Francisco California, specializes in novel and innovative clinical treatment serums. Our unique formulations are next-generation, high-performance, leading-edge -- and any other great hyphenated catchphrases you can imagine.

We're here to buck the status quo in standard medical grade skincare and haircare treatment lines. We've found the vast majority of current popular physician-office products, while certainly somewhat-to-quite effective, are no longer leading edge. And most of them contain ingredients that really aren't that expensive to acquire, compared to their retail price.

So we created RevivSerums.com to provide products equivalent to famous physician-office brands so it's easy to compare, apples-to-apples. We then leapfrog them with brand new cosmetic chemistry, and provide them to you at a competitive price. Along the way, we've also developed some truly novel products with breakthrough ingredients and really astonishing results (case in point: our RevivHair™ and RevivLash™ Stimulating Serums).

We gain inspiration by the principles and tenets that go into the making of our products, and we hope you encounter a bit of that inspiration with every product and feel moved to share that feeling with your followers, friends, family and world.

My Thoughts

I have started using RevivLash Lash and Brow Stimulating Serum for almost a month now, I am 62 years old and one of the things that happens with age is hair loss. I have noticed that my hair is thinner than it used to be and along with that my eyelashes have suddenly gotten shorter, almost to the point of non existent. Whether that is from years of mascara use or just the aging process, I don't know.

Like I said I have been using this serum for about a month, I put it on nightly before bed. I have had no irritation at all, I use it on both the upper and lower lashes. I actually have noticed some difference in my lashes. They do appear to be longer and are filling in instead of losing them. To me that is great, I do not need it on my brows as I have enough hair there.

A lot of people may use prescription Latisse® and should give RevivLash a try, it supposedly works just as well if not better than the prescription remedy. This product comes in a small tube like mascara, but you do not need a lot so it should last awhile.

I have reviewed several other products for RevivSerums and they are quality products.

The Demented Lady Detectives’ Club by Jim Williams Spotlight!

The Demented Lady Detectives’ Club by Jim Williams

In the pretty Devonshire town of Dartcross an elderly lady diarist struggles with her memory to write a history of her colourful past, her hateful cat and her murderous husband. At the same time, Janet Bretherton and her friend Belle try to discover a purpose to their retirement. Is it enough to discuss the latest novels in their readers’ group, go to the theatre or attend a séance? Perhaps, instead, they should try to solve the mystery of the dead Polish man whose body is found by the river?

The Demented Lady Detectives’ Club is both a whodunit and a funny yet poignant account of a group of women growing old and seeking love and meaning in both the past and the present. The unnamed lady diarist finally faces up to the horror she has buried in her memory and the love she has lost. And Janet has to deal with the tender feelings she is still capable of evoking in a man who is twenty years her junior.

High school student Malakai Thomas, star wide receiver of the varsity team, collides with band member Lily Morgan on his way to football practice. As days go by, Malakai cannot get the petite clarinetist out of his head. Lily Morgan can feel everyone's emotions. She loses her ability to shield herself against them the day Malakai runs into her. Now she must try to maintain her sanity in the emotional jungle that is high school, as well as deal with her growing feelings for Malakai. Can Malakai get over the social stigma and his own internal struggle to be with Lily? Is Lily's secret too big to accept, even for him?
#1 - LILY “I wonder what would happen if you lost your ability to shield.” That simple question from Lily’s best friend, Sandra, almost got them killed. As Lily Morgan drove them to school for their band practice in her Mini Cooper, it took all of her limited driving skills to keep them on the narrow suburban road and not in the ditch. “Let’s not ever mention this again!” Lily’s heart raced at the thought of it. Sandra Jones was the best friend anybody could dream of. She was also everything Lily was not. She was outgoing, tall, and beautiful with her long, straight blond hair and blue eyes. She always wore the nicest outfits, and guys regularly asked her out on dates. She could have been part of the popular crowd had she wanted to, but she was perfectly content being in the marching band, just like Lily. Sandra and her family, in addition to Lily’s uncle, Charlie, were the only people alive who knew what Lily could do; she had the ability to feel the emotions of the people around her. The only way for her to function and have a close to normal life was to build mental shields, which prevented the barrage of emotions from continuously assaulting her. Sandra knew how important shielding was to Lily, particularly in an emotion-infested place like high school. “Just saying. I mean, you’ve been giving me the silent treatment since we left home. I had to find a way to make you talk.” “Well, that’s not a good subject on a good day.” “Then, what’s eating you?” “My mother, again.” “I don’t understand. Why don’t you take Charlie’s offer and move in with him?” “It’s my house, Sandra. If anything, she should be the one moving out.” “Not going to happen, not until the courts kick her out. You know that better than I do. She’s not going anywhere.” Her friend was right, unfortunately. “Can we move on to something else?” “What did she want this time?” Sandra asked instead. “Another party to introduce you to your future husband?” Lily nodded. She could easily imagine Sandra rolling her eyes, and if she hadn’t been driving, she was sure she would have seen her do exactly that. “I don’t get it,” Sandra continued. “She’s not even your real mother.” “I don’t get it either. Why does she keep throwing me at those guys?” “Beats me,” Sandra said. “Did you say no?” Lily remained quiet. She never said no. She still held the hope that if she did exactly what her mother requested, maybe one day she would approve of her. Hope definitely made people stupid. “When will you, Lily?” Sandra asked, turning toward her. “You deserve better than this.” Lily sighed. She had tried to explain it numerous times before, but Sandra never understood. After all, Sandra’s mother loved her and was always so proud of her. “David said football practice starts today,” Sandra said, changing the subject. Lily felt her best friend’s eagerness at sharing the news, and she knew what was coming next. “Malakai will be there.” Ever since she had admitted to Sandra that she liked the star wide receiver over a year ago, Sandra brought him up every chance she had. “Why don’t we talk about your love life for a change?” Lily suggested. “Oh, no, we’re so not. Yours is so much more fun.” It was Lily’s turn to roll her eyes. “So, what else did David say?” “They should begin practice around nine this morning.” “They have it so much easier than we do,” Lily said, turning onto the access road that led behind the school. “You got that one right. If they practiced half as much as we did, they would wear paths in the football field.” “That’s probably why we practice on hot, steamy asphalt,” Lily said as they arrived in the parking area. “It sucks, really. Why don’t we get to practice their amount of hours and they, ours?” “Because what we do is more complicated?” Lily suggested with a smile. Sandra shrugged and glanced out the window. “Look at it on the bright side.” “There is one?” Sandra asked, irony coating her tone. “No!” They were both laughing when Lily pulled into her usual parking spot.

Book Tour Grand Finale for The Ghost Chronicles By Marlo Berliner!

Book Tour Grand Finale for
The Ghost Chronicles
By Marlo Berliner

We've delved into what it would be like to be a ghost in the afterlife, met Michael and Sarah, and learned more about the book's setting. If you missed any of the stops, feel free to go check them out now...

Launch - Interview

What is your motivation behind The Ghost Chronicles? What do you hope readers take with them after they’ve read it?

The best stories lie at the intersection of truth and imagination. The Ghost Chronicles began this way, as well. I had my ‘eureka’ moment one day while sitting on the beach in the Outerbanks of North Carolina (for those of you who don’t know where that is, I urge you to find out and go visit). At the time, I was reading Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. Chapter Eight, The Deathday Party, deals with ghosts and what it might be like to ‘live’ in the afterlife, so that provided the spark that ignited the fire to write The Ghost Chronicles. As a flood of ideas filled my head, I scribbled down a rough outline and the book quickly took shape.

Teatime and Books - The Characters

My hero, Michael Andrews, is very much drawn from my own two boys, Michael and Andrew. Both of them are tall, handsome and athletic. In my story, Michael Andrews is an eighteen year old basketball star with a promising future, set to play for University of Pittsburgh after graduation. He has an impressive build and more importantly, a strong character.

Since Sarah is supposed to be Irish, I decided she would have long, wavy red hair and emerald green eyes. I wanted her to be a character as full of life as Michael. Her spirit is said to be playful and mischievous, so that’s the kind of character I was aiming for.

Life as Leels - Review

I am not one who typically reads books more than once, but this one will remain on my Kindle to read again in the future. That doesn’t happen often, but when I find a book like this, it’s a treasure to hang on to!

deal sharing aunt - The Setting

The Angel of the Sea is one of the most recognized Victorian structures in the United States. Legend has it that in the late 1960’s, a girl fell to her death at the Angel of the Sea and did at one time, haunt the inn. The story of the girl has been included in several non-fiction books about ghosts in Cape May. My heroine in THE GHOST CHRONICLES, Sarah McConnell, was inspired by this legend.

As he opened his eyes, his vision blurred. After a few seconds, the inside of his car came into focus and his mind flashed through the last scenes in his memory. I was driving…there was a bend in the road…and sunlight reflecting off the grill of a truck…

Becky on Books - Excerpt

No matter how he tried to joke about it though, he couldn’t shake the feeling someone, or something, was watching him from the darkness. He stopped and stood stock-still, listening.

Wishful Endings - Ghost Stories

To me, the best ghost stories are those that portray spirits in a realistic, believable way. In order to get past the suspension of disbelief, we need to be able to see ourselves in their shoes and buy into the possibility that there may be something beyond this earthly existence.

100 Pages A Day - Review

"I was pulled right into this story about Michael’s trials and learning about how to be a ghost. It was really interesting to see his struggles with leaving his family and girlfriend behind, especially in the absence of his father. . . . I will definitely be reading the second book!"

Mel's Shelves - Romance in The Ghost Chronicles

To me, the best stories are those that forge an emotional connection with the reader. And what forges a better connection than a romance? In writing THE GHOST CHRONICLES, I realized about a quarter of the way through that it was missing something. This was Michael’s story of being stuck in the afterlife, but it needed more. The story really came together when I had the epiphany of adding Michael’s romance with another ghost, Sarah.

This was a well written, steadily moving, paranormal tale. . . . The characters are well defined and very realistic. The scenes are easily visualized. The Title and Book Cover are more than “fitting”.

Can Michael get to heaven before the devil gets him first, and if it means leaving Sarah is he sure he still wants to go?

Michael Andrews had everything – a loving family, a great girlfriend and a promising basketball career. That was before the accident that took his life. Now, he’s a ghost, wandering among the living, struggling to understand why he’s stuck. All he wants is to move on.

That is until he meets Sarah, an attractive young girl who died just as tragically as he did. The only trouble is falling in love and binding oneself to another soul is forbidden, for it may keep one or both of the souls bound to earth for longer than they should be.

To make matters worse, there’s also a danger in going too far with Sarah, because the “joining” of two souls in the afterlife is also strictly forbidden and they don’t know what will happen if they do go that far. Each time they touch they can feel the boundaries of their energies slipping perilously into one another.

Things get even more complicated as Michael learns he’s being pursued. Demons are after him because he’s a marked soul, a soul the devil wants very badly for some unknown reason.

So, maybe falling in love in the afterlife isn’t such a good idea.

About the author: I grew up on a hill in the north of England. From a young age, I wanted to live in London. As a child, during the depths of night, I'd often listen to the hum of passing trains. Sometimes I'd run to my bedroom window hoping to catch a glimpse so that I could pretend that I too was travelling on one, speeding along, London bound, like the rest of the world was sleeping.
So one day in my late teens, I bought a one-way ticket and travelled to London with just £30.00 in my pocket and a bit of blind faith.

In my novel The Last Days of Lisa, (that I’m still writing), the main character Lisa mirrors how overwhelming it was for me to see London for the first time through the eyes of a teenager travelling alone….

‘London never rests, she thinks. It’s on speed. A vortex, absorbing everything. Running from its own stench but also basking in it. Seemingly superficial and plastic to those not enchanted by its ambivalent charms. London has a soul; a ravenous appetite that feeds on the egos of the thousands that flock here each day to get closer to their dreams. ‘
Not long after moving to London, yoga and writing graced my life. I think they both saved me. On the writing front the spark came after reading the book, Catcher in the Rye. I’d not had the opportunity to study much as a child but that didn’t matter now as this book blew me away. “If you really want to hear about it, the first thing you’ll probably want to know is where I was born, and what my lousy childhood was like, and how my parents were occupied and all before they had me, and all that David Copperfield kind of c—p, but I don’t feel like going into it, if you want to know the truth.” J.D Salinger As for yoga, another book in the form of a second-hand yoga book written back in the 1960’s made its way into my mitts via a second-hand bookstore. As I’d said earlier, to start with I wasn’t very good at either. Dyslexia and lack of flexibility and poor posture were my obstacles. I could see beyond that though as both yoga and writing offered me hope and possibilities that before this I hadn’t ever thought possible. Before yoga and writing I believed I was useless and had nothing to offer the world. So I worked hard at studying for more than a decade. The author John Harding was the first teacher to believe in me. After studying writing under his inspiring tuition, I even managed to get a few novels published along the way. On the yoga side, I studied both Hatha and later Kundalini yoga and despite not being naturally flexible nor a person who liked to sit still. It was in India back in 2004 that I had my first awakening experience. During all this time, I also managed over the years to work my way up from an office junior job to a finally a supervisor position, having worked for most of my life in a string of unfulfilling office jobs.

The good news that in October 2015 I left office work to become The Word Sprite full time! The silver lining in all of this is through my personal experience of having to be creative with my time I came up with the concept of yoga and holistic solutions for modern day living. Hence, this is how The Word Sprite was born! Read Janey's awesome article How to Manifest Real, Lasting Love on MindBodyGreen.

Fixed By Doug Piotter Virtual Book Tour!

Fixed
By Doug Piotter
Genre: Dark comedic memoir

Fixed is a darkly comedic memoir that spans my unsupervised youth, drug and alcohol addiction, bank robbery, life in prison and ultimately my release and re-entry into my life’s new and sober orbit. With the perspective gained from more than two decades of sobriety, I give an accounting of my debauched life with humor and irreverence.
I grew up with alcoholic parents trapped inside their own lonely skins, a painful childhood full of cold shoulders and broken furniture. I burst onto the drug scene at age eleven and thrived before slowly finding out that it wasn’t all that it was cracked up to be. With addiction taking over and dictating my every move, I tried to make sense of it all while gathering five felonies along the way.
At thirty-three, after a long string of bank robberies and my bad guy impersonation had run its course, I was brought back to life with the gift of prison and given the opportunity to re-invent myself and start my life over, from scratch. Upon release, I learned that the universe is a kind and forgiving place, often strange and funny with plenty for everyone as long as I don’t forget where I came from.

About the Author
After two decades of reckless behavior, gripping drug addiction and petty crime evolving into bank robbery ended on the day he started a 115-month prison sentence in 1993. He has been clean and sober and crime-free ever since, a remarkable turnaround against long odds that such a change was possible. Upon his release, Piotter built a successful construction company and became an active member of his recovery community. He lives in Seattle with his wife, artist Terrell Lozada.

Other Books In The Series

*This is not a stand-alone Book 1 of the series (When The Chips Are Down) must be read first. Carrie Maynard has come a long way from the awkward teenager who sat in front of the most popular boy in calculus class. She’s now a young, independent woman with a great job, a loving boyfriend, and a close knit family. But something still seems to missing. Jason Wilder is no longer the cute teenage boy that Carrie crushed on from high school. He is now a hardworking, handsome man and one of Carrie’s very best friends. He is the perfect guy just looking for his perfect girl. Uncertain that he’s actually found her in his girlfriend, Ashley, he goes through the motions, hoping she will fill the void Carrie has left in his heart, ever since the day they met back in high school. When circumstances change and feelings can no longer be ignored, will Carrie continue to sit on the sidelines, watching someone else live out the future with the boy she loved from so long ago, or will she take the next step with the man that’s always owned her heart? Sometimes taking a risk for love isn’t always easy. Sometimes even the strongest of friendships are put to the test. And…. Sometimes it’s easier to walk away when life takes us down a different path than the one our heart intended.

Handsome, rich and powerful, Gia becomes totally enthralled with him until she finds herself slowly turning into someone she no longer knows. Cam Hamilton has always been like a big brother to Gia. Now one of the hottest baseball players in the Major League, he is known for his moves on and off the field. But no matter how many women he has in his life, Gia will always be his number one. When Gia’s heart is broken into pieces, Cam is right there to help her put it back together. When they both give in to their feelings for each other, will they be able to pretend that certain lines were never crossed, and certain feelings were never felt? Will Gia follow the rules that she has lived by for her entire life or is Cam the one worth breaking all of them for?

Ever since I can remember, I have always enjoyed Creative Writing. There was always something about being able to travel to a different place or become a different person with just the stroke of a pen - or in today's world a touch of the keyboard. I am the author of The Exception To The Rule, An Unplanned Lesson, An Unplanned Life, Drowning In Love, A Cry for Hope, A Will To Change, Blind Side of Love, When The Chips Are Down and Easy Silence.
My life is not as interesting as my books or the characters in them, but then again whose life is? I'm a mom of twin teenage boys, a crazy Border Collie and a cat with an identity crisis! I guess you can say writing is my form of relaxation.
