Andrew Joyce left high school at seventeen to hitchhike throughout the US, Canada and Mexico. He wouldn’t return from his journey until decades later when he decided to become a writer. Joyce has written three books, and a collection of almost one hundred forty short stories that is comprised of his hitching adventures, written as veiled non-fiction called BEDTIME STORIES FOR GROWN-UPS, and his latest novel, MOLLY LEE. He now lives aboard a boat in Fort Lauderdale, Florida with his dog, Danny.

A highly readable mystery

This book had good momentum. The mystery was well crafted; nothing illogical or thrown together purely to magically advance the plot. I liked reading a story that was dark and yet realistic. The motivations of the characters, while sometimes petty and sordid, were human. It had a small town feel; was petty and sordid in the way life can be in small towns. Definitely worth reading. Nice for taking your mind off things.

What I liked most about this novel was that it was a quick read and an intriguing story full of twists and family secrets. Our hero is kinda a greedy coward but it also makes his plight that more interesting.

My Review

I received a free 1 fl.oz. bottle of Oz Naturals Hyaluronic Acid to review. I started using the product the night I received it prior to going to bed. I applied it on clean skin on my forehead around the outer edges of my eyes (crowsfeet area) and on my neck. I have recently lost 65 lbs and I will soon be 62, so there is some loose skin that is starting to wrinkle. That comes with age in anyone but to varying degrees. I am fortunate that I have good genes and do not have a lot of wrinkles. That said, after a few days using this product, I did notice a change in my forehead area. The lines were still there but showed up a bit less. 

This serum has vitamin C which is an antioxidant, vitamin E, which promotes the circulation of blood to the skin, getting rid of those free radicals. There is also green tea, which is a wonderful antioxidant and anti inflammatory which calms the skin and relieves puffiness. Hyaluronic acid acts as a heavy duty hydrating liquid that moisturizes and hydrated and can be used under makeup.

 I don't know about you but after years of getting little sleep, what with working, stress and raising kids,  which resulted in a few lines on my face. I think with prolonged use of a few weeks or even months, I will continue to see how well this serum works. The price is actually very good and the amount that gets used, should last for a long time making this a good purchase if you are looking for a bit of beauty help.

Ben Matthews is a native of South Carolina.  He is a graduate of Presbyterian College, the University Of South Carolina School Of Law and is admitted to the South Carolina Bar. He maintains a law practice in South Carolina.   His practice has allowed him to appear in the Horry County Courtrooms on many occasions.

Although he is not a resident of Myrtle Beach, he spent many weeks of summer, multiple spring breaks and a host of weekends along the Grand Strand where he learned to water ski, fish, crab, shrimp, scuba dive and party. It is still the number one getaway for him and his wife.

Mr. Matthews is also the co-author of Blended Family Bliss, a nonfiction work.
