About the Author

She also authors Rosie's Renegade Humor Blog. "This is the blog for people who would be knowledgeable about current events and politics if only politicians and news anchors didn't slant the truth. My Thoughts:
This book was a fun escape for me and I enjoyed it very much..each essay is very candid and filled with humor. Rose A. Valenta's writing brings back memories of Erma Bombeck, whose books I devoured years back. Sitting on Cold Porcelain is a satirical take on political and other news and events happening now. This book had me giggling as I read it and I received  a few strange looks from my hubby, so then I had to read some parts out loud to him and now he wants to read it also. The author also has a blog called http://www.rosevalenta.blogspot.com/ so if you are a person who enjoys this type of book, or even if you aren't, you should read this book!!
