My Thoughts:
Have you ever wanted to be an actor or actress?? Have you wondered how the famous ones got to be famous?? If you have, than Making it in Hollywood by Bryan Hidalgo and Gail O'Donnell is the book that can answer these questions plus more. This is a book on what to do and how to do it to make it in show business. With over 100 actors, screenwriters, directors and producers interviewed with such questions as "How do you prepare for auditions?", "How did your career begin?", and "Is there anything you's like to add that might be helpful to an aspiring actor?". Some of the actors/actresses interviewed for this book were, Jenna Elfman( Dharma & Greg), Neil Patrick Harris (How I Met your Mother), John Larroquette (Night Court). There were also Screenwriters, Producers and Directors interviewed. Not only will the reader learn some neat tidbits about these people, but if the reader is aspiring to be in any of these fields then this is definitely the book for them. I found the book fun to read and I did learn some interesting things about Hollywood.
I received this book from Pump Up Your Books and was not monetarily compensated for my review.
