Reviews!

To any authors/publishers/ tour companies that are looking for the reviews that I signed up for please know this is very hard to do. I will be stopping reviews temporarily. My husband passed away February 1st and my new normal is a bit scary right now and I am unable to concentrate on a book to do justice to the book and authors. I will still do spotlight posts if you wish it is just the reviews at this time. I apologize for this, but it isn't fair to you if I signed up to do a review and haven't been able to because I can't concentrate on any books. Thank you for your understanding during this difficult time. I appreciate all of you. Kathleen Kelly April 2nd 2024

Justifiable: Oregon by Pamela Wright

About the Book:
Have you ever wished something bad would happen to someone evil because God and the law took too long?

There are those that risk it all for the rest of us.

Duplicity is the exquisite yacht manned by such men. Men intent on luring the world’s wealthiest human traffickers out of their millions and into their final moments on earth inside Tillamook Rock’s infamous lighthouse.

Terrible Tilly, as the lighthouse is known, rises from the sea on craggy slabs of jagged rock. On a clear night, when the stars are shining, smoke can be seen wafting out to sea as the crematorium housed inside Tilly consumes one more soul’s lifeless body.

About the Author:
Pamela Wright grew up in Seaside, OR and later studied creative writing and Journalism at the University of Texas.
Writing for local papers under her personal By-line was rewarding and then Ms. Wright began fostering and later adopting children through the DCBS of Kentucky.
Ms. Wright studied child psychology through the department for years and is currently involved in the care of medically fragile children requiring trained services around the clock.
Ms. Wright states: I’ve personally seen the devastation of children whom have been abused in every conceivable way. My entire family has been committed to these children. We know the psychological damage and the years of rehabilitation it takes to recover their self-esteem.
Sometimes a child doesn’t recover from the psychological damage and sometimes they become an abuser, repeating the cycle of damage perpetrated on others.
The safety and protection of children is everyone’s business and everyone’s charge. Be committed to the preservation of children and the world will change.

My Thoughts:
Justifiable Oregon is a story about the evil that one person can do to another. The action is set around the Tillamook Rock Lighthouse, Terrible Tilly as it is called by the locals, Seaside Oregon. This particular lighthouse is used as a legal crematorium, but is also used for illegal activities founded in greed in which the caretaker of the crematorium carries out. It is a love story also between Sarah, who came to Seaside to grieve for her deceased husband, and Dan, who was her high school classmate. Sarah is a photographer and Dan is a private investigator who come together to renew their relationships. The two of them find themselves embroiled in the illegal activities that are carried out in the lighthouse. The illegal activities include human trafficking and murder. Human trafficking is an atrocity to men, women and children alike in that they are sold as sex slaves or work slaves wherever there are buyers. The authors goal, in writing this book and other activities she is involved in, is to bring awareness to this horrible thing done to people all around the world. It certainly opened up my eyes. I really enjoyed this book and look forward to reading the series.
I received this book for review and was not monetarily compensated for my review.
