Easter's Lilly by Judy Serrano

It was Easter Sunday; the day Lilly's life went from safe and comfortable to dangerously unfamiliar. Her transformation takes her from a small town girl having an affair with a low ranked gangster in the Montiago crime syndicate, to a woman of grace and fortitude married to the head of the organization. Easter's Lilly is an inspired journey from the idyllic to the darker side of self-discovery. Read as the over-privileged brothers embark on their journey that twists and turns down the road of unbridled passion in this first book of the series.

My Thoughts:
Easter's Lilly is a story about a young girl who gets involved with a drug dealer, Johnny, and no matter what anyone says about him, she finds herself in love with him and ends up pregnant. Lilly's father is shot by some low lifes and since he is a cop, he gets her into protective custody. The only problem is that the people who are supposed to protect her are not upright citizens themselves. The powerful Mexican mob family, the Montiago brothers. She is under the protection of Diego who makes sure she is safe within his family. Lilly is attracted to another brother Max. What ensues is a fast paced story with love, lies, and danger around every corner. I enjoyed the story as it was well written and easy to read. I look forward to reading the rest of the books as the ending in Easter's Lilly was abrupt and left me hanging.

This book is the first in a series with Brother Number Three and Relatively Close. To read more go here to Judy Serrano's website.
I received this ebook from Everafter PR and was not monetarily compensated for my review.
