Wolgast Castle by Linda Bell Brighton Blog Tour Spotlight and Guestpost with Giveaway!!

About Wolgast Castle
Forced to attend the Regent's celebration at Wolgast Castle, 1560 Germany, Sidonia von Bork, fears her magical abilities will be discovered and she'll be burned alive as a witch. When she discovers she is actually a member of an ancient shape-shifting race and the prophesied Golden One, she must face her destiny: to save the multiverse from the daemons determined to destroy all humans, and stay alive in the process.

Linda Bell Brighton’s Bio:

Linda Bell Brighton fell in love with myths, magic, and monsters at an early age. On a thunder-storming day in the Keys, her father—in his bass reading voice—brought The Hound of the Baskerville to too-vivid-life. From that day forward, Greek and Roman myths merged with Wonder Woman and Super girl. After studying medieval and Renaissance literature in college, she now combines her loves by writing an alternate history of the Witch Burning Times that she calls magpunk: real history with myths, magic, monsters—and daemons, too.

Guest Post on Brainstorming Tarot Spread By Linda Bell Brighton

In the center put a card, either of your choosing or let Tarot choose.
Deal cards around it in a rough type circle, not necessarily clockwise or counterclockwise. Put them where they urge tells you to. Deal as many or as few as you want.
First: Look at Major Arcana cards. They might reflect the journey (character arc) the main character needs to go through or the travels the character goes. Or the significant issues in the novel. What you find here resonates through your interpretation of the rest of your cards.
Second: Look at the Court cards. These might represent the characters or the characteristics of the characters. Perhaps thoughts they hold. Maybe the acts they do or events they cause. Or worldbuilding. Races with that trait.
Third: look at the minor arcana cards. These are probably events in scenes.
Look at the images. Does the name or pictures give you any ideas? How about the written description?
Do the cards keywords give you any ideas?
How about the action phrases for the cards?
Are there opposing cards (two cards with opposite meanings)? These show conflict ideas.
Reinforcing Cards (two cards with similar meanings)? Perhaps the side kick of Protagonist or Antagonist.
Court Card Pairs (the same rank)? This doubles what their rank signifies, what their element is.
Minor Arcana pairs?  This can be the same event repeated, but with differences.
Draw an imaginary horizontal line through them. See all the cards below the horizontal line as Past journeys, people or events. As you go clockwise, the cards describe more the more recent past. If any card is on the left line, that is the “ghost” of the character or some important past event. Above the line to the left are future events. The first one above the line is the next event. Going clockwise each is in the farther future. If any card is directly on the line to the right that is a goal or some important future event.
Compare the card in the center with every other card. See if that triggers any ideas.
Happy ideas!
