Reviews!

To any authors/publishers/ tour companies that are looking for the reviews that I signed up for please know this is very hard to do. I will be stopping reviews temporarily. My husband passed away February 1st and my new normal is a bit scary right now and I am unable to concentrate on a book to do justice to the book and authors. I will still do spotlight posts if you wish it is just the reviews at this time. I apologize for this, but it isn't fair to you if I signed up to do a review and haven't been able to because I can't concentrate on any books. Thank you for your understanding during this difficult time. I appreciate all of you. Kathleen Kelly April 2nd 2024

The history of Blog Action Day

Blog Action Day was founded by Collis & Cyan Ta’eed in 2007. With the support of their team at Envato in Australia, as well as numerous volunteers, they recruited thousands of bloggers to blog about the issue of Environment on October 15, 2007 – making the first Blog Action Day an immediate and quite unexpected success.
In 2009, Collis & Cyan asked the team at Change.org, who where then the world’s leading blog network for social issues, to take over responsibility for Blog Action Day and expand its reach.
Change.org successfully grew Blog Action Day until 2011, when they handed on Blog Action Day to the Voice Blogging Project. The Voice Blogging Project have developed numerous blogging events and projects bringing bloggers, not-for-profits and media to cover global issues of human rights, environment, poverty & development since 2009.
The Voice Blogging Project is run by co-founders Karina Brisby and Jason Wojciechowski. Karina and Jason have extensive experience creating innovative digital projects in Europe, North America, Africa, Australia and South Asia, and when they are not working on Blog Action Day they are partners of Core Collaboration.
