I am not a beer drinker, but I found this book very interesting and almost wish I could try these beers. It is the companion novel to 300 Beers to Try Before You Die.
What you will find inside this book is everything you ever wanted to know about beer, how it is brewed, how to taste beer and the many different kinds including but not limited to Ales, Bitters, Porters and Stouts, Wheat Beers, Lagers, Bocks and many many more. There is a glossary, a list of Brewery museums, retailers and an index by beer name and by country. A very definitive guide to one of the most beloved of beverages. If you love beer and even if you don't, you will find this book a treasure trove of historical facts. Definitely worth a read.
I received a copy of this book for review and was not monetarily compensated for my review.
