Reviews!

To any authors/publishers/ tour companies that are looking for the reviews that I signed up for please know this is very hard to do. I will be stopping reviews temporarily. My husband passed away February 1st and my new normal is a bit scary right now and I am unable to concentrate on a book to do justice to the book and authors. I will still do spotlight posts if you wish it is just the reviews at this time. I apologize for this, but it isn't fair to you if I signed up to do a review and haven't been able to because I can't concentrate on any books. Thank you for your understanding during this difficult time. I appreciate all of you. Kathleen Kelly April 2nd 2024

 My Thoughts

The Ghosts of Salem is part of the Haunted America Series. Salem Massachusetts has always intrigued me, there have been numerous explanations for what happened and why were all these people persecuted. Ghosts of Salem explores different haunted areas in and around Salem Massachusetts. The chapters include Cemetery Haunts where the oldest and most visited graveyard is the Myles Standish Burial Ground dating back to 1620. It appears that the older the cemetery, the more spirits are wont to lingering. Among other haunted places in Salem is the Gardner-Pingree House which is considered a "murder house". Then there is the Old Salem Jail, the site of fifty hangings, can you imagine the spirits that are there? There is the Joshua Ward House, some claim it is Salem's most active site for ghosts.

There is so much more to read in this book, it is a fast read though and well researched, I read it in one afternoon. There are also pictures included in the book so you kind of get the idea and can imagine what goes on in these places. I just love reading about this kind of stuff so when the opportunity came to review it, I jumped at the chance. I enjoyed this book tremendously and you will too!! Be ready to be creeped out!

I was given this book for review and was not monetarily compensated for said review.
