Did you know that breast cancer is the 2nd deadliest cause of death for women around the world? Today, breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer among women.
More than 200 000 new cases of invasive breast cancer are expected in 2015. Thousands of women will die of breast cancer, but groundbreaking research for the cure needs to be funded.
Even though the number of breast cancer deaths have decreased over the years due to increased awareness and that by 2050 no woman should die of breast cancer, there is still more work to be done to increase awareness.
The October Campaign to make this a reality is being launched by Glamulet during Pink October.
