Reviews!

To any authors/publishers/ tour companies that are looking for the reviews that I signed up for please know this is very hard to do. I will be stopping reviews temporarily. My husband passed away February 1st and my new normal is a bit scary right now and I am unable to concentrate on a book to do justice to the book and authors. I will still do spotlight posts if you wish it is just the reviews at this time. I apologize for this, but it isn't fair to you if I signed up to do a review and haven't been able to because I can't concentrate on any books. Thank you for your understanding during this difficult time. I appreciate all of you. Kathleen Kelly April 2nd 2024

Primates of Park Avenue is the memoir of the author Wednesday Martin and her life in New York's Upper East and West Side where the elite live and try to outdo each other in being accepted into the social structure from infancy, where the parent's vie for spot's in the best school's from preschool on through college. Very informative I guess if you are interested in that sort of thing. Personally I can not see spending $10,000 for a purse just to be accepted. So that is why reading this Summary and Analysis is great. I read this while on the treadmill and it was the perfect length, gave me a quick tour of Ms.Martin's life.

I do enjoy reading these Instaread Summaries as they do give me an idea on whether I want to purchase and read the book or not. For this particular book I think I will give it a pass, based on the summary. Not my kind of story although it was interesting to read about the life of the rich people. This summary was very in-depth and well written. This is not the first Instaread I have read, I just wish that a lot of books had these, I seem to spend a lot of time trying to read a book that I just can't get into, so with an Instaread book, I would be able to decide whether or not do devote time to a book.

I received a copy of this book at no cost to me.

  1. This sounds like a great way to decide to get a book.
