I love a good strong bold cup of coffee with lots of creamer. I am a coffee snob and I love trying out different brands and flavors. I do not care for a flavored cup of coffee though, just a good strong one. I received Faro Black Rose Noir and Faro Smooth Columbian for review.
Did you know, I didn't until I did some research, when it comes to the terms Colombian and French, Colombian refers to where the coffee was grown, while French refers to the roast of the coffee. Colombian coffee beans can be French roasted, but French roasted coffee does not come from France. Any variety of coffee can be French roasted. Interesting.
What I thought about the coffees; of the two I prefered the Black Rose Noir, as it has a nice bold flavor that I love. It was a hard choice between the two as The Smooth Columbian is also good. Both coffees are 100% Arabica, with no preservatives or artificial flavors. So all in all I will say that I loved both coffees, Black Rose Noir because it is a bold coffee that will wake up your senses in the morning and the Columbian because it has a smooth flavor, not acidy or bitter.
