Adrienne Vaughan has been making up stories since she could speak; as soon as she could pick up a pen she started writing them down. No surprise she wanted to be a journalist, ideally the editor of a glossy magazine, where she could meet and marry a rock star! Today, she runs a busy PR practice, writing novels, poems and short stories in her spare time.
Adrienne was born in England and brought up in Dublin. She now lives in rural Leicestershire in the heart of the UK with her husband, two cocker spaniels and a rescue cat called Agatha Christie. They have a home in the Wicklow Mountains in Ireland and visit often, as Adrienne says, ‘To keep her ear in.’ She still harbours a burning ambition to be a Bond girl.
To date I have written three standalone novels which form the basis of the Heartfelt Series, The Hollow Heart, A Change of Heart and Secrets of the Heart – they have each been shortlisted for reader awards at the Festival of Romantic Fiction and the Love Reading Awards. My latest novel Scandal of the Seahorse Hotel is with my editor and should be available soon. I have also contributed to Hocus Pocus – a short story anthology by various authors.

Hi Kathleen
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for making me your 'Spotlight Author' today, it's wonderful to be here.
The Hollow Heart was my debut back in 2012 and it's still delighting readers four years on. Someone has just left me a review on Amazon, which simply says 'A good read' - well an author can't ask for more than that, can they?
Looking forward to connecting with lots of your fans and readers right here.
Warmest wishes
Adrienne X
