Reviews!

To any authors/publishers/ tour companies that are looking for the reviews that I signed up for please know this is very hard to do. I will be stopping reviews temporarily. My husband passed away February 1st and my new normal is a bit scary right now and I am unable to concentrate on a book to do justice to the book and authors. I will still do spotlight posts if you wish it is just the reviews at this time. I apologize for this, but it isn't fair to you if I signed up to do a review and haven't been able to because I can't concentrate on any books. Thank you for your understanding during this difficult time. I appreciate all of you. Kathleen Kelly April 2nd 2024

Amber stood naked on the hill, her hair darker than normal, almost crimson and

flowing with the breeze so she felt it brushing against her breasts, her shoulders, and

her back, soft bristles of sensation that clung to her for moments at a time, as though her

skin refused to release the touch in time with the wind. The wind was brisk in fact, and

she wondered why she wasn’t cold…freezing actually. She could feel it blowing against

her thighs, her waist, between her legs, and over her face, but the trail of touch it left

was almost devoid of temperature. She lifted her hands to touch her face and noticed

that her nails seemed long, manicured to a sloping point about three-quarters of an inch

past the cuticle, and colored with the same dark red of her hair. She stared at them. It

wasn’t right. I don’t wear my nails like this.

She looked down at herself. She wasn’t naked after all but wore a single item…a

gauzy strip of red silk so insubstantial that she felt it now only when looking at it

wrapped around her waist, secured by her family’s crystal. It only hung down about

seven or eight inches, and the wind caught the edge of the silk and blew it open and

closed, alternately exposing her completely and then almost but not quite obscuring her

with the transparent cloth. Vaguely, she realized she should feel uncomfortable or at

least a little self-conscious, but she found herself completely at ease. In fact, she felt a bit

empowered; her body had never looked this good before, and she imagined the college

boys eating out of the palm of her hand. The thought brought a tinge of desire to her,

and she felt the breeze at her breasts create a slight tingling.

A growling sound floated through the air to her, and she looked up to see the man

from the park. He stood in a field blanketed with snow, bare to his waist. His hair also

moved with the wind, the sideburns a little more pronounced than they had seemed in

the park. His chest, the giant barrel of a chest, moved with his breath, and she followed

it to his neck and then his face. He stared at her impassively…no, not impassively. Just

not lustfully. She felt a little foolish but wished his face, just staring softly at her, would

transform itself into a leer.

Snow! How could there be snow on the ground? She looked down. Yes, she stood

on snow. Still, she was not cold. She reached her hand to her right breast and touched

her nipple. It was soft. Neither the cold nor the vague stirrings she felt for the comic

man had—wait. The man was gone. The field was empty now. Snow still covered the

ground, but he was gone.

Queen’s Enemy

Blood Prophecy Book 2

When you are in love with the one you fear and hate the most, it leaves you no options. How can you fight her, protect her, love her, when all it would do is leave you in pieces?

Amber and Chloe are pulled deeper into the Prophecy that reveals itself as the Blood Moon rises. Michael is pulled and torn into different directions. His choice is fated but is not known until Amber embraces her true destiny and is crowned Queen.

Together, all four embark on a journey, joined by new allies, enemies and the past. A child is born to be the instrument of the Queen.

Queen’s Ascension

Blood Prophecy Book 3

Bloodshed. Heartbreak. Revelation. When the darkness was compelling and the heart knew no bounds, was there really a right choice?

With Michael’s life hanging in the balance, Amber had a choice: save her star-fated love or keep on the crusade to unite the magical community. For Amber, her fate was sealed even before her birth and it was her destiny to fight the great battle ahead of her. But, when it came to her heart -- her friends, her great love -- Amber’s torn.

Not only was she the Queen, but she was a human in every sense of the word. She was vulnerable. And so the very people -- Chloe and Michael -- that gave her strength, quickly became her weakness. It wasn’t her fault she loved too much, was it?

Nevertheless, the Tall Dark Man had set a plan in motion that could threaten the very existence of the Blood Prophecy. Would he gather his dark forces and succeed in destroying Amber once and for all? Or, would she assemble her powerful friends and save the world?
