Blondies

Ingredients

1 cup melted butter

2 cups dark brown sugar

2 eggs

2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract

1¾ cups flour

½ teaspoon baking powder

½ teaspoon salt

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray an 8"×8" pan with cooking spray or coat with butter.
In a large bowl, mix melted butter and brown sugar.
Add eggs and vanilla and stir vigorously until smooth.
Add the flour, baking powder, and salt and stir until well incorporated.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth out.
Bake for 45 minutes until the edges are golden and a toothpick comes out mostly clean.
Cool completely, then cut into squares.
