Forbidden Seduction (Forbidden #6) by R.L. Kenderson Release Blitz! @rlkenderson #ForbiddenSeductionReleaseBlitz @buoni_amici_press

Title: Forbidden Seduction (Forbidden #6)
Author: R.L. Kenderson
Genre: Paranormal Romance
Release Date: May 28, 2019
Cover Designer: Viola Estrella

As the only child of a cat-shifter and a human, Demi Cross has always lived between two worlds, always feeling alone. As long as she can remember, she’s been warned to hide her identity from those who wouldn’t want her kind to exist. But hiding is easier said than done. With her unique biology, she has needs unlike any human she knows. Once a month, her body requires a partner in only the most carnal way possible. And tonight, she’s on the prowl. When Saxon Einar spots the naïve human in the middle of Club Seduction, his instinct is to protect her. But he senses something different about Demi, and it’s not just her fierce attitude. He soon realizes she’s anything but ignorant. Passion between the two of them ignites, leading to much more than one night. When danger comes for her, Saxon wants nothing more than to keep her safe—and to show her that she’s always had a place where she belongs.

R.L. Kenderson is two best friends writing under one name. Renae has always loved reading and in third grade wrote her first poem where she learned she might have a knack for this writing thing. Lara remembers sneaking her grandmother’s Harlequin novels when she was probably too young to be reading them, and since then she knew she wanted to write her own.
When they met in college, they bonded over their love of reading and the TV show Charmed. What really spiced up their friendship was when Lara introduced Renae to romance novels. When they discovered their first vampire romance, they knew there would always be a special place in their hearts for paranormal romance. After being unable to find certain storylines and characteristics they wanted to read about in the hundreds of books they consumed, they decided to write their own.
One lives in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area and the other in the Kansas City area where they’re a sonographer/stay-at-home mom/wife and pharmacist/mother by day, and they’re a sexy author by night. They communicate through phone, email, and whole lot of messaging.

The Promise Between Us By Barbara Claypole White Blog Tour! @bclaypolewhite

The Promise Between Us

“If you leave your newborn child because you have unstoppable thoughts of harming her, are you a good mother or a terrible one? This dilemma is at the heart of Barbara Claypole White’s novel, a wrenching story of how one woman’s OCD has a ripple effect on those around her—including the people she tried hardest to protect. This is an eye-opening and realistic exploration of mental illness—a topic that greatly deserves to be front and center.”—Jodi Picoult, New York Times bestselling author of Small Great Things

Metal artist Katie Mack is living a lie. Nine years ago she ran away from her family in Raleigh, North Carolina, consumed by the irrational fear that she would harm Maisie, her newborn daughter. Over time she’s come to grips with the mental illness that nearly destroyed her, and now funnels her pain into her art. Despite longing for Maisie, Katie honors an agreement with the husband she left behind—to change her name and never return.

But when she and Maisie accidentally reunite, Katie can’t ignore the familiarity of her child’s compulsive behavior. Worse, Maisie worries obsessively about bad things happening to her pregnant stepmom. Katie has the power to help, but can she reconnect with the family she abandoned?

To protect Maisie, Katie must face the fears that drove her from home, accept the possibility of love, and risk exposing her heart-wrenching secret.

Author Bio

Jane Linfoot is a best selling author, who lives in a muddy cottage, up a steep hill in Derbyshire, with her family, their pets, and an astonishing number of spiders. Although she loves seeing cow noses over the garden wall, she’s happy she can walk to a supermarket.

Jane grew up in North Yorkshire where she spent a lot of her childhood avoiding horizontal gales blowing off the sea, and wrote her first book by accident, while working as an architect, and renovating country houses. While she loves to write feelgood books that let readers escape, she’s always surprised to hear her stories make people laugh, admits to (occasionally) crying as she writes, and credits her characters for creating their own story lines.

Jane’s garden would be less brambly if she wasn’t on Facebook and Twitter so often. On days when she wants to be really scared, she rides a tandem.

Her latest books include a series of stand alone novels, based around a seaside wedding shop in Cornwall. Cupcakes and Confetti – The Little Wedding Shop by the Sea, Sequins and Snowflakes – Christmas at the Little Wedding Shop, and Bunting and Bouquets – Summer at the Little Wedding Shop, and most recently, The Little Cornish Kitchen. These are all published by Harper Impulse,  an imprint of Harper Collins.

Follow Jane on Twitter @janelinfoot, or find her on her Author Page Facebook or her Personal Page Facebook. She’s also on Instagram, and has lots of Pinterest boards relating to her novels.

The Resurrection by Mike O'Neill Book Review!

Book Details

  • Paperback: 398 pages
  • Publisher: Austin Macauley Publishing (February 28, 2018)
  • Language: English
  • ISBN-10: 1788233611
  • ISBN-13: 978-1788233613

World-renowned scientist and Nobel laureate, Sir Francis MacLeod, is about to make a startling revelation – a revelation that would challenge everything scientists have thought about DNA – when he suddenly collapses.

What happens next is a bizarre chain of events that puts science and religion on a collision course and spurs an international murder investigation.

Set in Cambridge in the mid-2020s, The Resurrection is a fast-paced mystery thriller that exposes the inner workings of the Catholic Church, corruption within the pharmaceutical industry and proposes answers to some of mankind’s most profound questions.

The Review
The Resurrection by Mike O' Neill is one of those novels that leaves you thinking.
A story that is science driven and character driven, it also has DNA technology, modern pharma, and controversial religious icons.

The DNA technology part, even though at times it was confusing as a layperson to figure out exactly what the author was talking about. The characters I found to be down to earth and with flaws. This story is not only about genomes, the church, and pharma, it is a deeply human story with each character depicted as believable.

The novel is also a psychological thriller and a good one at that. I did not think I was going to like it but the more I got into it, the harder it was to put down. I did learn about genomes and cryogenics. This book seemed to touch on just about everything, the Catholic Church, the Shroud of Turin, the science and religious beliefs. It also touched on not only Catholics but Christians of all faiths. Is Jesus walking around among us? Can they find out through the genomes of people? Can they freeze people in time to be unfrozen at a later date? This book takes place in the late 2020's but seems like it could be now.

I really did enjoy this book and I hope the ending left room for a second book? I would like that. I highly recommend it!

I was given a copy of this book for review purposes only.

The Author
