Preserving Summer Canning Series in August, encouraging canners across America to hang on to peak summer flavors year-round and enjoy fresh recipes. These digital classes will be featured on the Ball Canning Facebook page each week, showcasing 4 popular canning categories – Salsa, Jams, Pickles and Condiments. They’ll be led by canning expert Jessica Piper and special guests Cookie + Kate, Garden Betty, Food in Jars and Whipperberry.
The class schedule with feature recipes are:
- Saturday, August 5: Corn and Cherry Tomato Salsa – 7th Annual Can-It Forward Day
- Wednesday, August 9: Mixed Berry Jam
- Wednesday, August 16: Bread & Butter Beets and Sweet Pickled Radish
- Wednesday, August 23: Siracha Ketchup & Habanero Apricot Jelly
