The Evolution of Adam: One Mans Journey To Become A Spiritual Warrior is a New Age inspirational thriller, offering some action and intrigue while introducing a new spiritual insight for the mature reader. There is some mild violence as well as complex social and sexual relationship interactions throughout the storyline.

This novel begins with an allegorical tale depicting the origin of humanlike animals that evolve from purely instinctual and reactive creatures, to ones having sentience and an inherent consciousness of individuality. This evolutionary movement is instigated by highly evolved spiritual entities called Zenithians, who are responsible for all the creations within the Earthly Realm.

Subsequent chapters transport the reader to contemporary times and establish the novel’s plot. Because of a mysterious incident, Adam and his friends sense that there are unknown powers that influence their lives. They then meet highly advanced spiritual characters that serve as teachers to assist them in reaching individual spiritual awareness and acquiring various metaphysical capabilities.

The primary antagonist is a wealthy and spiritually powerful woman named Diana, who provides the nucleus that pulls all of the primary characters together in a quest to discover the ruins of Atlantis, somewhere in the Bahamas. She has a dangerous agenda that will serve as the conflict between all characters in the novel, as many of them acquire heightened spiritual powers such as reading the Akashic Record, traveling within the Spiritual Timeline and experiencing Out of the Body movements.

The storyline takes the reader along on a ride that moves at a moderate pace during the first chapters where new characters are being introduced, but begins to speed up when friction between the protagonists and antagonists takes place. Toward the end of this story the novel becomes a thriller as open conflict between Diana and her followers attempt to deter Adam and his friends from reaching their goals.

This novel is an inspirational thriller for mature readers as it contains relatively complex philosophical discussions on the origin and evolutionary progress of individual souls. There are instances of great violence and disturbing activities. The storyline also describes many of the primary character’s personal activities, including those of a sexual and social nature.

Biography

Dan Ford was born in Hancock New York in November of 1937. He served in the U.S. Air Force as a meteorological observer from 1954 through 1958 and traveled extensively throughout the Far East and South Pacific during that period. In 1960, Pan American World Airways employed him for the next 10 years in the Bahamas, also as a meteorologist, on the U.S. Atlantic Missile Range during the early years of the U.S. Space Program. It was during that time, in 1962 that he met his life partner, Paul and they have been supporting each other's dreams Dan Ford was born in Hancock New York in November of 1937. In early 1960, Dan traveled to Ireland and visited the Blarney Castle. During that visit, two robust, probably drunk Irishmen held Dan by his feet over the top of the Blarney Castle parapet and told him to kiss the Blarney Stone. He did, and soon after that he started talking incessantly and felt the need to put his thoughts on paper. He had been warned about this, but paid no attention, which had always been a particular character flaw and one which is often observed in the Irish American genetic code.

In the ensuing years, Dan wrote a lot and published naught until he reached his twilight years and figured he better get on the stick. He wrote and published Gateways To Your Garden, which is a full color "What To" rather than a "How To" non-fiction book on landscape design and available within Amazon Books. Then he decided to create a fiction novel about exceptionally fine looking people doing interesting and exciting things to and with each other in alluring locales. This inspirational thriller is called The Evolution of Adam and has a spiritually philosophical structure that serves to construct a connection between all aspects of the storyline as well as inspiring and uniting the books characters. This spiritual philosophy represents the sum total of the authors mental acquisitions acquired during his years here on Earth. This novel is also available within the Amazon Books literary empire.

Now that Dan Ford has gotten this novel out of his system, he has decided that he needs to stick around for a while and perhaps squeeze more stories out of his consciousness. But that will depend on the reading tolerances of those who decide to give his books a try.

"I first started visiting Yellowstone Park almost thirty years ago. Before long, my family was coming to fish in Montana and in Yellowstone thirty to fifty days a year. On those trips I fished most days with one or more of my children. Some of my early memories include:

A horse pack trip nine miles up the Lamar River with all three of our children ages four to ten. We had to take a detour because a grizzly had been seen feeding on an elk carcass.

Hiking upstream from Tower Creek on the Yellowstone River with all three of our children to fish for cutthroat trout.

A failed attempt to ford the Yellowstone at Buffalo Ford.

Hiking up the Madison in September to fish streamers for big brown trout.

Wade fishing on the Gallatin with my daughter as two wolves watched us from a snow-covered hillside across the river.

My eleven-year-old son “guiding” me on the Gibbon River in the Gibbon Meadow.

Hiking down to the Gardiner River below the ranger station for wonderful long fishing days with the whole family.

And the list goes on.

Something happened for me in the course of all of those trips, all of those enthralling, never-ending summer days, fishing until dusk.

I’d be hiking out with one or more of my children after a day filled with animal sightings, sunlight breaking through clouds turning portions of the vast meadows a brilliant green, clouds passing in front of the evening sun throwing irregular shadows on a rocky mountainside, a lone bison grazing in the distance where steam was rising from a hot spring pool, rainy days with rainbows so brilliant that it took your breath away. Yes, something wondrous happened. I internalized a sense of well-being, a sense of how splendid life could be, of the promise it held for these lovely children.

Yellowstone Park gave me that, and I hope, in some small way, this book is giving something back to this magical place we call Yellowstone.'

He began a finance program at the Northwestern University Graduate School of Business, but left to start his own film production company in Los Angeles. He managed that company from 1977 until 1986, producing films including "Ghost Story" starring Fred Astaire, Melvyn Douglas, John Houseman, Douglas Fairbanks Jr., and Patricia Neal, and "Raggedy Man" starring Sissy Spacek and Sam Shepard, which The New York Times called "a movie of sweet, low-keyed charm." In 1987, he founded an investment business, which he still runs. INSIDE PASSAGE is the first in the Corey Logan trilogy.

My Thoughts
"Sam is asleep, I could kill him now. His face is turned from me-It wouldn't be hard. Would he stir if I moved? Try to stop me? Or would he just be glad that this nightmare was over?"

So, did that grab you? It did me too. These first few lines of Eeny Meeny had me thinking, ok, now why would this person say that? Well, as it turns out, this woman and her boyfriend wake up in a covered, empty swimming pool, not sure how they got there. After they wake up, they receive a phone call, on the phone left with them next to a gun. Their instructions are simple, one of you must die. After the deed is done, the person left alive is let go. 

Detective Helen Grace is a flawed individual, lots of baggage from her past keeps her from having any relationships, but in spite of that she is a good cop. As a survivor herself, she can sympathize with the people who come in and tell their bizarre story of their abduction. As time goes by, there are more couples abducted and held prisoner without food or water until one of them kills the other. 

What is the motive behind this, well that is what Helen has to figure out along with her team. Alongside that there is a reporter who hounds Helen for the story, then someone leaks details to the press, details that only the police know. This , of course, leads Helen to believe that someone on the inside is the one leaking the details. It comes down to Helen being suspicious of a close co-worker. Can she figure out who and why these crimes are being committed, it is a race against the killer, before he or she abducts more innocent people.

I love a good crime novel and this one was no exception, believable characters, an interesting plot all make for an edge of your seat thriller. I am glad to see that this is going to be a series because I am curious to see if Helen can conquer her own demons. I thoroughly enjoyed the story and recommended it for the reader who likes a well-told story.

My Thoughts:
These easy to position and reposition lights are perfect for getting more light where you need it. The nice size of the clip makes it simple to attach to the side of a bowl, a cabinet handle, a book, grill, or just about anywhere that you want. I don't have enough light under my cabinets at night so I found it very helpful to clip this light onto my cutting board while doing prep for dinner the other night. My Thoughts:
I've have had a set of name brand plastic measuring spoons since I set up house keeping more than twenty years ago. Getting me to part with them wasn't going to be easy, but always willing to try new things I gave these a test drive. My Thoughts:
My thermometer arrived the day I was making fried green tomatoes so I used it to make sure that my oil was at the proper temperature. If it's to cold the tomatoes get mushy before the breading gets brown and if it's to hot the outside  burns and the tomatoes are hard. I had bragged to my west coast boyfriend how awesome mine were so getting it right was important. My reputation as a southern cook was on the line! I found that this thermometer was easy to use. I just put one AAA battery in it, turned it on, and flipped open the probe. When I placed the tip in the oil I had a reading in seconds and with the nice big readout I didn't need my glasses to see it. My Thoughts:
With so many of or utensils now having plastic composite handles I hold onto my old ones that have real handles and find myself going back to using them. I just love the feel of wood and have been known to spend a lot of money just to purchase one brand of knife that has a wood handle. My Thoughts:
The all metal construction makes this juicer strong and durable. Plus, since it is made out of stainless steel I get longevity and don't have to worry about it rusting. With a very small kitchen I have very limited drawer space in my home. The hook makes it easy to hang off off one of my many cup hooks that are on every open spot in my kitchen. We eat a lot of fish and salads that we use fresh squeezed lemon and orange for and having it hanging and not hidden in a drawer keeps it handy. I found that the nice big handles were easy to grasp and squeeze so that I could get all the juice out.

My Thoughts:
In the last few years, bamboo has become one of the most popular materials for cutting boards because of it's low maintenance, superior health and sanitation qualities. Not only does it look good but it is a green, renewable and earth friendly material. The hardness of a bamboo cutting board, plus the fact that it very resistant to bacteria makes it a must have in my kitchen. I tested my new board by cutting some yellow squash, zucchini, and cucumbers with a brand new ceramic knife and could not find one mark from doing it. All you have to do is make a habit of never letting it soak and wiping it dry after washing  and with this easy, proper care this board will stay beautiful for years.

My Thoughts:
This is my first ceramic knife so I wanted to know what some of the advantages of a ceramic knife were. I found out that they include hardness, ceramic is second only to diamonds; weight, it's much lighter than metal; durability, because these knives keep their razor sharp edge and will not wear out like metal; no metal means no rust; and the ability to resist stains and odors. Because each ceramic knife goes through a long manufacturing process which makes it high end you can expect quality and longevity from your knife. I tested my new ceramic knife by cutting some yellow squash, zucchini, and cucumbers. Even with difficulties from injuries with my hands I found the handle was very easy to hold and grip. My Thoughts:
This is perfect for getting  the little cook in your home playing, imagining, and creating. The basket is made from thick plastic making it strong and durable. My Thoughts:
I just ordered this beautiful set two days ago and was so excited to try them. Don't they look amazing? They arrived yesterday and look even better in person! The attention to detail and quality is obvious. The Kitchen Classique Grinders are a nice large size so they will hold a lot more than any of the previous grinders that I have owned. I found it really easy to open each grinder to fill it. Just unscrew the metal part from the glass, fill, and screw it back on. Each grinder has a lid to keep it from spilling accidentally, or for grinding what you need then adding it to your food plus you can adjust the coarseness to your liking. I am very happy with this product and would recommend it to my friends and family with confidence.

The Author

Nicola R. White is no stranger to the fantastic. Although there are no Furies in her family tree (that she knows of), she comes from a small city on the east coast of Canada where ghost stories and superstitions abound.
